Back at it again with the Oldie fam!!

I need more kids in my life so Coral adopts a child.

Herb gets to work on some skills. I was going to have him complete the read all the life skill books but I switched gears midway through.

So introducing little Leo. HOW CUTE IS HE .

Coral doesn't like my decorating skills so fuck her. Leo seems to like everything though.

Back over to Herb he takes a loan out to buy a pet shop! He will reach level 10 in this business damnit.

His son in law is having none of this foolishnesss of his selling skills but the other customers are more then happy to buy from him.

Back home Coral was making a fruit salad for herself and Leo. She had missed having a child in the house.

Shortly after Herb got back the Pleasant family came by to visit. Lilith was excited to see her grandparents and her new uncle.

But the families were distracted by a dog. Leo really wanted it but Lilith told him it was unlikely Coral and Herb would allow him to have it.

Upon seeing a fight that Angela started Herb and Coral talked to her about the importance of being nice to other people.

After the talk Coral made her famous Pumpkin Pie. Coral takes that time to ask Daniel about his marriage to her daughter. He doesn't have much to say but he is trying to fix his relationship with his wife. Coral is happy about this but she is sad that they are having problems in the first place.

Angela gets mad that she got in trouble because of Lilith so she picks a fight with her. IM COUNTING IT.

Due to work Catherine missed the spring fair that came around every year but she loved nature, especially the stars. With her telescope she looked at the stars and wished she was an astronaut. It was a dream she knew would never come true because she hated school as is and didn't want to go back for 12 years just to be an astronaut.

But she didn't have much time to look at the stars either, her final grade was in and she had received it in the mail. She knew she should check it but she was nervous. If she didn't pass this that meant another year as a paramedic until she could retake the exam.

Catherine opens the letter to see she had indeed passed her course and she could start work as a nurse!

With no more late nights Catherine decided now would be a good time to call her sister up and ask if she wanted to hang out. Catherine and her sister weren't very close but she hoped to change that, especially since now that her sister was pregnant.

"Laurie?"
"Hey Cat in the Hat. Everything okay?"
"Uh yeah yeah, I was hoping you would like to come over to hang out a bit?"
"Sure Cat. It would be nice to see you."

And come over Laurie did. Catherine couldn't believe her sister was becoming a mom!

"Oh my gosh, look at you Laurie. You look amazing!"
"I look like a beached whale but I am hanging in there." Catherine laughs at that comment before going to talk to her little niece or nephew.

Her sister didn't stay long as she was starting to feel sick. Catherine decided to spend her day off shopping. It wasn't warm enough for her summer clothes yet and Catherine had worked hard and deserved it.

Way too much drinking..

With a that college credit Catherine could now switch to something she actually wanted to do. She was now a home aid nurse for a lot less money but she knew she could work her way up the ladder and make some money. She was surprised she was hired so quickly but she knew the town had a shortage of nurses.

Her friend from her old job was sad to see her go though. They had gotten close over the last year but now that Catherine worked someone else she was sad she wouldn't be able to see her friend that often. Catherine couldn't help but notice that everyone in her life was pregnant.. It made her start to realize that she wanted kids one day but so far it wasn't looking good.

Much like her sister, her friend started to get sick and headed home. Catherine was starting to wonder if maybe her house affected pregnant women. She knew that sounded crazy though.

A/N: Catherine is still SO BORING.. I need something to spice her life up, i am thinking about adding a populated subhood in so that way maybe one of those sims will spice her life up but IDK.. I don't really want to add a BUNCH of sims all at once because I don't really want to play them but at the same time I feel like my neighborhood is growing so slow. I might just turn her into a townie.. I just dont know..

"Happy Valentines day my Karrbear."
"Happy Valentines day my love." Long ago the walkers had decided to get rid of the present part of valentines day but they still tried to spend the whole day together. Thankfully their careers gave them that ability.

But this Valentines day was a painful one. Kerry's cancer had finally overtaken her. They knew she didn't have much time left but he didn't expect just half a year short. Archie sobs like he never had before. The cries alarm Penny and Billy, they rush in to see what the issue is.

Penny understands what is happening immediately but Billy is confused. All he sees is his grandpa crying and goes to comfort him.

By the time Billy realized what was happening Penny was blocking the way. "PHILLIP!" Penny yells out for her husband.

He comes running in the bathroom only to see his mother, dead..

The family was devastated. Penny and Phillip tried to keep a brave face for Billy but Penny was falling apart.

There was no helping Archie. He was beyond repair as the grim reaper carried his wife away to the afterlife.

After the quick funeral Phillip had to get out of that house. All anyone did was cry and his heart hurt enough as is without adding his families grief on top.

He played hooky from work and headed to the coffee shop in town. He soon found out he wasn't the only one playing hooky that day. The Mayor was at the coffee shop as well and Phillip couldn't help but notice how amazing she looked.

"Madam Mayor! Pleasure as always."
"Phillip. Oh my, how are you doing? Extend my condolences to your dad and family okay?"

The conversation continued and Phillip could swear the Mayor was flirting with him.

He decided to flirt back and was surprised when she didn't reject his advances.

He quickly took leave after that for he didn't want to add insult to injury by cheating on his wife while the family was grieving.

The weeks that followed had a lot of people stopping by with food or hugs and encouraging words. Archie knew everyone was just trying to be nice but he really just wanted to be left alone.

The one that seemed to be most affected by her mothers death was Maryann. She was so bent out of shape about it Archie sent her on a vacation for a few days to clear her head a little bit. She came back a little better but she was still very emotional over the passing of her mother.

Everyone knew the family would never be the same but they tried their hardest to keep things as normal as possible for young Billy. They allowed him to invite friends over and have sleepovers. Took him to the park and helped him with his homework. They didn't want Billy to be affected long term.

On the last day of February Maryann couldn't take it anymore. She needed her own space away from her family. She knew now would be the perfect to ask her daddy to front her some money to help get her on her feet.

"Daddy, can I have 10,000 dollars so I can move out."
"Sure puppet. Get my wallet."

A/N: MY HEART. I am so hurt yall. I roll a die for when sims are suppose to die. Kerry rolled 67 and she turned 67 this year. I was going to wait for their next update to kill her but then I thought about who they are as far as a couple and they are the Valentines is the most special and never forget an anniversary type so she had to die now. Hopefully the ros won't roll a death card for anyone else anytime soon. I am trying to GROW my hood lol ! . Well see yall on the next update... Oh and one last thing, we won't see Maryann till round 3 since she stayed here the whole time.

Poor and jobless obviously wasn't affecting Martin in the best of ways. He couldn't believe he lost his security job at the town hall. He had no idea how he was going to make rent for the month of December but his luck seemed to be turning around somewhat when he met Maryann Walker.

"Hey, I have been asking around about you Martin.. The socialites are looking for new members and with some hard work you could make a good living. Would you like to join?"
"What is the starting pay?"
"Well honestly, nothing, but once you start hosting parties and getting booked for events you will make a good amount of money!"
Martin thought about this.. He didn't understand what they did?
"What is it I will be doing exactly?"
"Well, do you remember when the town was having that men in public service contest?"
"Oh yeah, for the calendar?"
"YEAH that one, well even though you didn't win your picture came across my desk and I knew I had to make you a socialite! Take some time to think about it, talk about it to the lady friend and give me a call." Maryann hands him her number before walking off and greeting the party goers.

With a lot on his mind Martin heads to the bowling alley to think it through. He wouldn't make money right away but once he starts hosting events he would make a butt ton of money but it could also mean he would have to travel and be away from his girlfriend who was pregnant.

"Honey I think this is a great opportunity and it would bring in good income for the baby to be."
"I know but I don't want to be gone from you and the baby a lot."
"Yeah I know, it will be hard but we will make it work. Besides we need this extra money so we can move out of this apartment and get an actual house."
Martin knew she was right but it didn't make it any easier. He decided he would call Maryann in the morning and accept the offer.

Laurie's hours had been cut with the news that she was pregnant. She wasn't exactly mad, she was a paramedic and after throwing up for the 3rd time due to blood she felt it was probably the best. But being at home more often was boring.

December came and went and Laurie was starting to show. She couldn't believe it was the new year already. She missed her parents greatly and wished they were here to see their first grandchild.

Laurie barely saw her boyfriend now a days. He was often working long hours for the socialites. He still managed to make her doctors appointment though and for that she was grateful. With that being said, Laurie was over the moon when Martin invited her on a date to the bamboo garden. He still wasn't making very much money and gigs were few and far between but he tried and that is what matters.

After being seated and an interesting conversation Laurie had gained enough courage to ask the burning question. She knew it was soon but with a baby on the way she felt like it was now or never.
"Babe."
"Yes my beautiful girlfriend."

"I know it is kinda soon and we haven't been dating for that long but what do you think about a shot gun wedding?"
"I think you beat me too it because I was going to propose to you tonight as well. I love you Laurie and I am excited to start this family."
With a smile they both slipped their rings on and continued dinner in bliss.

So much bliss that Laurie got up and started singing karaoke. Laurie couldn't sing at all but it was an amazing night all around.

With a baby on the way and an engagement, Martin and Laurie decided to move in together. He at least got to see his fiancee everyday now.

A/N:

I literally ship these two so much!!! I did their rounds separate but they ended up moving in together the last day of the round so I put them together which is why it's December and January... Speaking of it being Jan, this is when I age every up by a year.. I don't have actual birthday months because that is too much work. LOL.
With that being said Martin is now actually 26.. I played Laurie second so her correct age is up there.
Laurie actually got pregnant in Nov which means she is due in AUG.. Which is exciting! The first born in game baby..
I am still unsure when I will have their wedding, whether it will be before or after the baby..
As far as Martin's job, the socialites don't make money until they top the career so because of that every turn I will roll a d3 to figure out how many events he has, then I will roll a d10 to determine how much he makes per event he has that round.
d3 because I have 3 days per season.. d10 because he will make anywhere from 100-1000 per gig.
The gigs: They will be hosted at one of the community lots and they last for 4-8 hours. To prove he goes to them I will take a picture of him there.
Alright with all that info lets move on to a very sad house.. Someone dies in this next house and my feels are hurtttttt.

Goldcrest - Round 2 - Noah 2

Noah looks through the ads for any gigs he can play.. Money was tight now a days. He had to pay his ex wife 500 dollars a month.

With no job in sight Jed decides to head out to chat with the neighbors. He could see that one of his neighbors were expecting and he rolled his eyes. He loved his child, but other peoples kids were demons.

Speaking of kids, Jed decides to call his over. He had a surprise for him and couldn't wait to see the look on his face when he saw it.
"Hey dad."
"Hey buddy, go get your shoes on okay? Your mom is dropping you off here for the night."
"She is letting me spend the night on a school night?"
"I know right, how awesome!"

Marleen drops Travor off with his dad before rushing to the town hall. She had the chance at overtime and to impress her boss, she couldn't pass up the opportunity.
"I've got a surprise for you bud."
"A surprise?"
"Yup, it's in the house."
Jed walks his son over to the house. Travor is greeted by a bark and jumping. Excited he yells, "DAD you got me a dog!"
Jed laughs and nods, "Yeah, I know your mom said you couldn't have one at her house but you can have one here!"

Travor spent the majority of time at his dad's playing with Abbey. Jed would kill for that laugh if he had too, thankfully all it took was a dog.
Jed realized too late that he had made a mistake though. There was a 200 dollar pet fee and he was already struggling to pay the 500.

Jed decided it was probably time to let his dreams go and get a 9 to 5..

ula'ree - year 3 - Fall (Wolosenko)

Wren's fall wasn't starting off the best. While tending to his land he was struck by lighting.. This further pushed him into a bad mood. Normally the outdoors put him in a great mood but today he was just pissed and fried.

After tending to his wounds his witch friend stopped by for a bit. He knew he was in dangerous territory but these people just understood him.

"Hey love how are you." Wren said with a wicked smile. He was a natural flirt which made most ladies swoon.
"I'm well Wren." She said, her voice was deep and breathy and probably one of the most appealing voices he had ever heard.
"Well, what is the cause for this visit?"
"Oh just wanted to see a friend."

With that the conversation went on for hours. Much like this morning, it was still raining though the lighting had eased up a bit.

After making a light lunch for himself and his friend Wren felt a tingle all of his body. When he turned around he saw a bright green light coming from his friends wand.
"Oh god, WHAT DID YOU DO?"
"Oh Wren, you didn't think you could just dabble in darkness did you? We lost one of our own not to long ago, it is up to to take his place." Confused Wren asked, "Take whos place in what?"
"You will find out soon enough."

Upset and confused Wren goes outside and has another mental breakdown. His life was not fairing well at all.

But much like last time once his breakdown was done he picked himself up and continued on with life like nothing had just happen to him.
He headed to the store, taxes were due and he had a pretty hefty bill..

With the slight expansion of the store Wren knew he needed help. He hired one of the gypsy girls to work the money while he sold. She didn't last long though, quitting before the day was over. This stressed Wren out but at least he made 4000 dollars at the market.

While he was on his way back home from the market Bim Go, one of the gypsy girls, walked by. He wasn't home to greet her but she left a lovely note at his door. She always seemed to know what to say.

Once home Wren calls Bim over. He had been so busy this fall that he hadn't had the time to spend with her and one of his goals was to still get married.

Bim comes over after the phone call and things take an interesting turn. It got hot and heavy.

Since they took it that far, Wren decides to propose to her. She happily accepts his proposal.

As Fall came to a close Wren and Bim got married. They payed the 500 dollars for the marriage license which brought their total out to 2200 in taxes.

A/N: Bim will help her husband with the business. With her being a savvy sculptor she has high mechanical skills (7 points). The taxes were high but at least Wren is finally happier.. His store bounced around from 1 to 2 quiet a bit and I can't remember what it was on when we left. Bim LTW is to own 1 level 10 business though I am not sure what I will have her do...

With the Wrens have some crazy things coming up for them and I can't wait for yall to see. These ROS rolls are fucking them up LOL

Ula'ree - Year 3 - Fall (Queen Julie)

We are starting a new year with the Monach!! My sweet Queen Julie.. So changes that I want to go over a little before I start the update.. I decided to give my characters Traits,, So if you see some behavior changes this is why.. I will tell you what their traits are.. BUT, when a child is born it gets one trait from each parent at babyhood.., child one new trait, teen one new trait, finally adult it gets it's last trait.. That way they become rounded..
Another new thing is, when people have children there kids will get randomized personality traits of there parents. EXAMPLE: Sim A has 4 nice points, Sim B has 10, their child will either get Sim A, Sim B or Random for there nice points.. That way children are more like their parents.

Okay, lets get in on year 3 of the Gang Family.

Queen Julie starts her round off in her new castle with her goats. Julie had turned over a new leaf and decided to become a Vegetarian .

Julie was worried about the new comers though. They would often steal her goats though she couldn't catch who it was. This frustrated her to no end. She decided to send Sterling out to have a talk to the knights about it.

Julie was thankfully all hope wasn't lost though. A few of her female goats had a couple of kids. Julie was over the moon about them and spent a lot of her time with them.

Being a Vegetarian wasn't always easy. Of course Julie had a lot of fruits and veggies to her disposal she sometimes missed a juicy steak. She would settle for this peach though, one of her favorite fruits.

Her cats were doing amazingly well. It didn't seem to bother them that they moved castle often for protection. Sterling wished the cats wouldn't sit on the counters though, he had to cook on those and there fur would often get in the food when they were on the counters.

Still smitten, Julie invites her love interest over but she was having doubts about the woman. She wasn't forth coming with information about herself and often times she didn't want to show any pda.. This puzzled the Queen. She would need to call the gypsy to have a look at the future of her and this woman.

Doing the job of an adviser was a lot more work then Sterling first thought. Checking on the businesses in Ula'ree was on of his daily task. Thankfully as it stood there was only one business in Ula'ree and that was the furniture store at the market.

While there he met with Ajay Manz one of the new residents in Ula'ree. He was excited to meet the man because he heard he had a granddaughter around the same age and Sterling planned to get married one day.

S: You know, your business would do better if you hired someone to run the register for you.. also someone to sell, that way you could focus on making items.
W: Jeez dim wit, I never thought of that. Oh wait, I did!! Pickin' are slim.

With that Sterling headed across the street to the pond. He had a meeting with Robert that was top priority.

Robert: Sterling! How nice to see you again.
Sterling: You as well Knight. How goes the fort?
R: It goes.. So what did you call this meeting for?
S: A few things.. First, someone has been stealing our goats. We have got to tighten up on security for the Queen. Second, someone has been leaving nasty letters for the queen, third, the queen needs you to accompany her to the forest. She needs to speak with the gypsy.

Robert nods his head, "Okay, I will look into the threats to the queen and will accompany her to the forrest. It is dangerous there but her wish is my command."

Pleased with the outcome of the meeting Sterling heads back to the castle.

Upon his return Sterling finds the queen in a deep sleep with her trusted cat. He knew with that cat around nothing would happen to his queen.

The next morning the queen was excited to find all of her goats were where they should be. She always spent her morning greeting each one.

Sterling spent his morning with his garden. He knew they would have amazing veggies this harvest and couldn't wait for them to be done. His mouth watered at the thought. The queen wasn't the only Vegetarian in the castle. When she decided to become one Sterling went along with her.

A sudden fire started in the castle one morning but thankfully the physician had recently moved in and put the fire out quickly. Phillip was a great warlock and Julie was happy that he was apart of her team but being so old he was a bit Insane. Julie didn't think it was the smartest idea to put the fire out using an ice spell. The castle was frosted for hours after which annoyed the Queen to no end.

With the castle being so cold Julie decided to spend the day outside but her peaceful day was ruined by a knight attacking her.

Random Knight: It isn't smart to be out here alone QUEEN. Someone might, hurt, you.
Queen: Knight, what is your problem!
Random Knight: Just know your days are numbered!

Shocked Julie looks at the eyes of a crazed man. What was he talking about days numbered?

Thankfully Robert had been running tight security around the castle lately and over heard the knight. He quickly pulled up on his great horse and confronted the knight.

Much to the dismay of Robert he was unable to torture the answers out of the knight. He trained his men too good for that. Instead the Knight died of his injuries.

Once Sterling heard the news of the Queen being attacked he raced home. He was glad she seemed okay and he even managed a laugh from her thankfully. As she put it, it was all apart of being queen.

Queen: Thank you Sterling for always bringing a smile to my face when times are hard. I honor our friendship and I am so glad I fished you out of that pond all those years ago.
Sterling: Oh wow, Thank you queen. It is my pleasure to serve the fairest queen of all the lands.

Almost being a goner put some spine in the Queen's back and she invited over her lover. Once within the castle walls her lover showed affection like no other. The queen still felt as though she was hiding something big nonetheless.

Her meeting with the gypsy was fast approaching though so all her questions would soon be answered.

The threat wasn't something Robert could take lightly, he decided to move into the castle and be the Queen's personal protected. They figured this was probably a good rule to have for all future queen and kings.

The night finally came. All of the queen's question would be answered. Robert lead the way, the woods at night was a dangerous place for a royal but he would do whatever the queen needed.
Robert: Queen I do not see this gypsy. This may be a setup.
Julie: Rob don't be such a -

Gypsy: Even if this was a set up the queen has nothing to offer me for kidnapping her would do nothing to benefit me Knight.
At that Robert and Julie jump around to see the beautiful woman standing a ways away.

Robert: Jesus! Announce yourself!
Gypsy: I just did. Shall we?

The queen couldn't help but giggle for she had never seen her dear friend so flustered.

Gypsy: What is the knowledge you seek child?
Queen Julie: Well, I am falling for a lady but she seems closed off and -
Gypsy: Stop, I have seen you with this woman, child she is a woman of the night.
QJ: A vampire?
*Robert laughs*
G: No sweet naive child, she is a whore.

At that Robert couldn't keep his laughter in any longer. He laughs with such force he thought he may injurer himself. The queen gives him a dirty look before continuing on with the Gypsy.

QJ: Well everyone can change!
G: Dear, you are terribly stupid if you think that whore will ever be marriage material. I have a better idea for you. I will send one of my ladies around for you. You WILL see a difference. Give your heart to her, for she will treat you well.

After many dirty looks from the queen Robert decided to remove himself from the conversation. He felt as though the Queen was safe enough in the Gypsy's hands. Still chuckling he lays on the hammock and looks at the stars. He didn't see the stars though, he saw the gypsy's face. She was insanely beautiful and he realized he wanted to know more about her.

As the gypsy promised she sent one of her girls around. This one was beautiful, of course, but also friendly. They talked for hours and when it was time for her to go the Queen realized she didn't want her too.

The next morning came with the end of fall. The queen only had one thing scheduled for today, she was to meet with a merchant. The merchant wanted a business license as well as a job for herself. Phillip greets her at the gates.

Queen Julie ended up hiring her on the spot and the girl worked that day. She was to cook and clean for the castle and her hours were from 7am to 9pm. Long hours but good pay. She would make 150 a day for her work. She had weekends off. After her first shift the queen chatted her up. Julie wanted to know all the people of her kingdom.

A/N: Well that was a jam backed season!! My seasons are only 3 days long so as you can see the royals were busy!!! These goat stealers are outrageous! They stole like 4 goats, thankfully the queen makes good money as a queen and was able to buy some back plus were got goat babies!!!!
I am also so shipping Sterling and the merchant daughter but I don't know..
Robert is really into that gypsy.. He queued up so many acr flirts and kisses I was losing my mind! LOL Maybe next time I will let them foster a romance.
Sterling should be growing up soon which I cannot wait for! And now for what yall have been dying to know.. The traits..

They have some interest traits and a crazy mix but they all get along great though Phillip annoys pretty much everyone because how can you be a disciplined couch potato LOL. We got to see a little bit of the queens over emotional trait and her bravery in this update. This is gonna be fun to play with these traits and make it come alive through the updates.

Next Family will be Wren. Let's see what he is up to and if he finds himself a suitable wife..

Uberhood Challenge - Caliente

And here are the Caliente Sisters...

Neither one of them have career ltws so they will take a job they roll for...

Dina, of course, doesn't roll for a job, instead she wants to invite over her love interest.

Nina on the other hand rolls for slacker or dance. She takes a job in dance and gets to work on her body skill.

Mortimer comes over and Dina is more then excited. They couldn't keep their hands off one another and she invites him to stay the night.

The round ends with Nina getting a demotion and Dina gets a promotion from her job in Adventurer. Once they save the money and get the skills, they will open a dance club.

A/N: The Caliente sisters are dreadfully boring.. Like I think they are my least favorite family.. I am trying to have new ships for them but IDK.. I also need to start on these babies.. I want more kids in the neighborhood.. Maybe Nina will get alien pregnant..

Uberhood Challenge - Burb

On to the Burbs now.. Jennifer looks for a job but doesn't find one she wants.. John takes a job as an entertainer - comedian. Jenn hopes he makes some money at this gig.

The welcome wagon comes and Jenn goes out to greet them. She grew up with most of these people but it was nice to see them again.

Since John got off work the same time Lucy got out of school, he picks her up. Once they get home he helps her with her homework. He wants her to be successful.

With her studies done, Lucy heads to her new arcade toy. Lucy loves this house.

Her play time is cut short though when her favorite cousin calls her for a chat. She missed Lilth so much and couldn't wait for the weekend so she could hang out with her.

There turn ends with Jennifer having really weird cravings. She bakes a huge chocolate cake, her husband would lose his mind but she shares her cake with her daughter. Jennifer normally is a very healthy eater but lately she has been having the weirdest cravings for junk food. It goes give her an idea to maybe open a little bakery here. She was sure the other residents would appreciate her chocolate cake.

A/N: I love the Burbs but I hate that they made John this super weak guy and Jennifer is this powerhouse.. When actually in my game she ALWAYS wants to have a baby never rolls any career like LTWs... *Shurgs* I think the bakery is a great idea for her though. Also, John ended up getting fired from his job and took one in culinary LOL..

Uberhood Challenge - Broke

We are back with the Brokes! My second favorite family of all time..

We start there round off with Brandi taking a loan out for 10,000. She wants her boys to have a better life then just some trailer park but without an income she can't. So this niffty loan will help with that.

All packed up and moved Brandi is proud of her purchase. It is still only a 2 bedroom but Brandi hopes she will be able to expand it.

Brandi: Well Dustin, what do you think?
Dustin: I think how will we be able to afford this if you don't have a job?

Brandi tries to not let those hurtful words get her down. She takes Beau to the potty. He is due to grow up soon and she wants him to learn at least one of his skills.

Dustin is secretly happy about the new house. He is much closer to his girlfriend and this house looks a lot better then the last. He just hopes his mom gets her act together and they don't get kicked out.

Dustin: Beau NO . You are all wet, lets change your clothes.

Dustin couldn't stay mad at his little brother, not with that shit eating grin on his face.

After getting Beau all changed, Dustin makes his way outside because there was a knock at the door. It's Cassandra Goth. Dustin figures this is the perfect time to ask her for a leg up in his career of Science.

Cassandra: I can't help you. I quit to open my own business.

In his teenager angst he kicks his trash can over. This does not impress Cassandra so she leaves.

Way to make a first impression.

Dustins anger was short lived when a really cute dog name Biscuit walked by. He adopts it because he is a sucker for cute things.

Dustin heads to work without that leg up..

Bella Goth walks by shortly after and Brandi goes to greet her.
Brandi: Oh my god Bella!
Bella: Oh hey Brandi. How's it going?
Brandi: It's going. Welcome back by the way.. Everyone thought you were dead..
Bella: *Is uncomfortable*

As Brandi and Bella continue there conversation Dustin gets back home, Fired! He is super upset because he was looking forward to that check. He really wanted a car but he was always getting fired from his jobs. Maybe he should stop lying on his resumes.

Bummed out, Dustin teaches Beau how to talk. His brother was so smart and he hoped he was nothing like this family.

With talking under his belt Brandi bakes a cake for his youngest child.

Dustin and Bella sing happy birthday as he is brought to the candles.

Beau grows up very very pale but cute nonetheless.

Being the smart boy he is, Beau heads straight to the computer to study up on his skills. He wants to be the smartest kid in class!

The round ends with Brandi finding a job in real estate.. As of now she is just a receptionist but she makes 150 a day which is really good money to her.

A/N: Brandi is trying to save up the money to pay her loan off and buy the hair salon..
Bella walking by was perfect because I have plans for her and Brandi..
Dustin had a rough round... Him and Cassandra do not get along, he got fired from his job, and he still doesn't have enough to buy a car he can restore. I hope next round is better for him and Brandi.

Uberhood Challenge - Dreamer

So before the protest of tumblr I saw this super cute challenge that someone had made up and I thought yes I want to try it out.. Basically there are rules on how to unlock all the maxis neighborhoods so you can add them in.. This was of course perfect for me because all those families would stress me out and I would just quit.. SO I decided I would help play test the rules..

With that being said lets get right down to it.. I don't want to stress myself out by having them complete this that and the third just so I can unlock things so we are in this for the long hall.

We start off with the Dreamer family.. My favorite family .. Darren gets a job in the athletic career because that's his ltw..

After looking over his want panel, of course, the first thing on there is something about Cassandra so he calls her up. She answers on the first ring and he invites her over.

D: Thank you for coming!
C: Anything for you..
D: Well, I know my timing couldn't be any worst since you are getting married soon but Cassie I love you. I always have and I always will. Before you marry that scum please give me a chance.
C: I thought you would never confess your feelings. Darren I love you as well. The only reason I am marrying Don is to find out what happen to my mother!
D: Well then it is settled.

D: I am yours and you are mine.

But as Darren goes in for a makeout Cassandra stops him.

D:Wha? What's the matter Cassie?
C" D I love you but my gosh take it easy.

And so that is what he did. He took it easy.

With Cassandra moved in Darren felt like everything was how it was suppose to be. He hadn't felt this way about another person since his wife.
Darren gets to work on his skills for his new job. He was starting his career a bit late but that didn't matter to him. At least he was now doing what he wanted and love instead of what he thought everyone wanted him to do.

C: I called Don up today.. We are meeting tomorrow so I can end things.
D: Okay love. I trust you.

Though Dirk wasn't getting a lot of air time he was very much apart of the family. He was happy for his dad and Cassandra though he was tired of putting fires out because his dad and soon to be step mom couldn't keep their clothes on.

The next day arrived and with a new hair style to boost her confidence Cassandra met up with Don.
Don: Hey, what are you doing at the Dreamer house?
C: About that.. Darren confessed his feelings for me..
Don: That bastard!
C: Mmm well, I realize I love him to and now we are together so the wedding is off Don.

Don was shocked. He never thought Cassandra would play him like this. Angryly Don walked back across the street to his house.

At the end of their round Cassandra started another fire making cup o noodles. She was stressed out but it was only her home so she sucked it up and put the fire out. Maybe she should learn more about cooking before she makes anymore food she thought.

A/N: Nothing has been unlocked as of yet, obviously. Cassie LTW is to own 1 top level business so I am going to have her sell flowers. She rolled the want for the florist bench so why not. Dirk rolled the same want so he will help Cassie run the flower shop.
Cassie already has a bronze flower arranging badge so soon I will have her start making the flowers she needs to sell.
Dirk will most likely sell the flowers and work the register.
Darren wants to top the athletic career which I find funny because it is nothing like him.. BUT completing those LTWs unlocks stuff.. So why not.

Lets just jump right in...

BD 2 greets his friends .. This family has a lot of friends but once the baby daddy moves out BM is normally down to only like 6 or so friends.

"What a horrible mother.. zzzz... I hate this family.. zzz"

Hard life kid..

E1 doesn't seem to think this family is so bad.. He just paints and spends time with his girlfriend..

"Nah, this family is deffo trash!"

Well, moving on to someone that cares about this family.. BM is giving birth!

9 and 10 make an appearance into the world. These custom eyes are still going strong 10 babies later!

So, I don't know where E1 girlfriend lives but when you invite her over she comes the next morning and stays for 3 days? She is obviously a teenager though so I .. don't know.. Either way, she came over and I forgot so I let E1 go to school and no one was here to greet her. GR.

Current situation.. Nanny is peeing on herself and dropping trash .. The maid can't get to it because the nanny is in the way and the baby is sleeping.. All of this equals roaches so .. all in all I'd say this family is nailing it.

Yeah yeah yeah.. We get it.. Family sims.. Now go take care of the 4 kids under 3 .. Thanks..

Here is 7 and 8... They take after there father that's for sure.

Potty training faces !! It's obvious which one has done this 8 times already LOL.

Extra 1 girlfriend is still hanging around? Like I don't know why but whatever.

Johnny pulling in the money.. That we don't need anymore but whatever.

Finally someone uses this damn creepy toy.. LOL literally the way it is coming from her dress is not helping with the creep factor.

Jealous girlfriend is jealous.. Also, shout out to makeovers.. She looks 1000 % better

Ula'ree - Year 2 - Summer (Manz)

The Manz family is the newest family in Ula'ree.. They are a merchant family that has dealt with a lot hardships.. Florrie and Maximilian got married really young, 16, and started having children right away.. They had known each other their whole life and knew they would one day get married..

But Florrie's father got really sick and had to move in with them and of course her mother came too. They were cast out of there home though because of Florrie's mother, Liya. She was a Physician and a good one at that, the kingdom accused her of witchcraft and kicked them out.

Where ever Maximilian went his mother followed, she packed her and her fiancee stuff up and made the move with them.. Florries dad got better but Maximilian died in a fire. Now they are here in Ula'ree trying to pick up the pieces of their life.

"Woohoo dear, that is how all babies get here. That is how you got here!"

"MOM, seriously?"

"What? Oh stop it, I told you about woohoo when you were Hallie's age and look at you!"

"On that note, I am going inside." Rianne rolled her eyes at her grandmother..She loved her but living with your grandparents was hard. They were from a different time and boy did it show.

Ajay ushers his wife inside, "Come now dear, lets make some lunch for the kids." Florrie holds her head. Maybe having her parents live with her wasn't the best idea.

Aleena was still heartbroken. Her only child, her son, was dead. She loved her daughter in law and her grandchildren but she missed her son so much.

Florrie sees her Mother in law crying and runs over to her. "Aleena, why don't you go lay down. I can finish the garden."

"Thank you sweet girl." Aleena goes into the house to lay down. Florrie started on the garden.

Inside the house Ajay and Hallie were studying. Florrie wanted her children to go to college, that was a difficult thing for a merchant but she hoped her daughters could get good enough grades to get some scholarships from the queen.

After Aleena's nap she went out to see if she could help Florrie with the garden. She was still working on it surprisingly. On her way to her DIL a knight walks up.

"Ms. I am Knight Berjes. I just came to check on you and see how your family is fairing."

"Oh, well thank you Knight Berjes. We are fairing well though we just got here a few hours ago."

"Well good. Please let the Knights know if you need anything. Ula'ree is a happy place and we are happy to help."

Aleena smiles at the knight. Maybe this place would be a good one to live after all.

Is this woman really heart farting me right now?

"Oh, you are very handsome, are you single Knight?"

"Uh, Yes Ms."

"You know who is also newly single.. My Daughter in law!" The knight blushes a bright red.

"I should go introduce myself to the rest of the family."

Across the way Wren Wolosenko walked by. He lived next door and wanted to meet the new Merchants in town.

"Excuse me Miss?" Florrie turns around to see a fair head man with lots of scars on his face.

"Yes?"

"Hi, I'm Wren Wolosenko. I live next door to you and just wanted to pop over and say hello."

"Oh, well hello!"

They talk for about an hour before Wren leaves back home.

Florrie found out he owned a furniture store at the market. As of now it was the only business but Florrie hoped to change that soon.

As summer rolled on, Liya got a job as the town physician . She loved it but she was getting older and it was taking a toll on her. She decided to quit her job and help her husband focus on his business.

"Say mama sweetie."

"Mama!"

"Good job!!!" Florrie had started to teach her youngest. Kiah, the skills. She was getting better at talking everyday and this made Florrie happy. She knows Maximilian would be proud.

In Ula'ree public school was open to any sim that had maxed one skill. So far neither of her older children had done that yet but they were getting close.

But Aleena was worried about Hallie. Since the death of her father she had been acting out lately but she never did it in front of her mother.

"Hallie! How could you break you sisters toy?" Cole picks Kiah up to calm her down.

"She wasn't sharing. If I can't play with it then nobody can!" Aleena was taken back, what was wrong with this girl.

"Go to the fields right now. You can work the garden today!"

Aleena turns towards Kiah to put her down for a nap, Hallie stomps outside to the garden angry with her grandmother.

After she was done pulling weeds Hallie comes back into the house. Silently, she snuck into her moms room.

"This is all your fault. Why did you have to die daddy!" Hallie says in anger.

Angrier then ever Hallie throws the urn. "I Hate you!" She whispers.

Author Notes"
Hallie is a llittle shit! My god.. She destroyed her youngest sisters blocks and then smashed the urn when she got in trouble for the blocks. I'm so hurt because damn Florrie is going to be so hurt.

Ula'ree - Year 2 - Summer - Molosenko (Merchant)

This is an outtake picture from the gypsy camp... Wolosenko spent a lot of time here while I play tested their lot and got them kind of introduce to some people.. The Gypsy's are a fun group of chicks and honestly I am so excited to see what kind of trouble they get into. LOL

After my melt down I felt a bit better but something in me changed.. It felt like every thing I wanted had just walked out of my life though I realized it had nothing to do with Julie I just wanted to be royalty. I only said she should be queen because I thought I could change her mind and make her see that she should choose me to have kids with.. What a mistake that was. Not only did she not choose me she also left me to be a lowly merchant!

I didn't have a lot of time to dabble on it though. I had to ensure I had enough food, especially since it was just me now at this house. I was grateful taxes didn't need to be paid this year but would need to be paid next summer.

While tending to my garden one of the new Gypsy girls ran by my house. She was a far way from home and I wasn't sure if she thought I would invite her in or not. Most of the Gypsy women were beautiful but Joanne was very unfortunate looking. It was no offensive to her but I had my eye on someone or two from that house already.

Speaking of who I had my eye on in the gypsy camp, she called me and we had a great conversation but I had to get off the phone, I had the 500 I needed to start a business and I needed to turn it in by 2 if I wanted to start today.

"Hey, I'll call you back later okay? I've got some errands to run around the kingdom."

"Alright handsome, you better call me." I smirked. Man was she something.

I could be thankful for one thing the queen did.. Working for her had given me the skills I needed and I was a fantastic furniture maker. Some people did custom orders and some just camp around the lot to see what I already had made.

Selling to customers was not my strong suit but I was getting better at it.

"Who doesn't need a bench Ivy! Think of it, you could put it with your new kitchen table!"

"Bur the price Wren! 158 coins, that is a lot.. Maybe I can do 75 coins.."

"NO WAY!"

I have to admit I wasn't keeping the best company.. It was almost like people could tell I was no longer a good person.. I made friends with bad people but I can't say I regret it.

I was also the ladies man apparently. I was an eligible bachelor in Ula'ree and with all these women moving to Ula'ree they wanted a husband.

By summers end though I realized something important as my last tomato plant died. Women could be useful in more then just a physical way.. I needed to find a wife, someone okay with just being there and tending to things I didn't want to do. Maybe pop out a few kids for me and produce an heir... I had my sights set on a few women and I would start to court them soon enough.

Ula'ree - Year 2 - Summer (Monach)

Oh man, we are finally on rotations of households! First up Queen Julie...

Summer started with exciting news from the kingdom!

"Queen Julie, I have exciting news."

"Well? Spit it out!"

"Your castle is done Queen. I hope you love it as much as I do." At that the queen smiles big. This was all starting to seem very real..

She wasn't leaving just yet though, it was an important time today. Wren was becoming a man!

The celebration was a good one! Everyone seemed to get along for this one day before it was time to go.

"Queen, the castle is a days ride away.. If we are to make it at a decent time we need to leave now." The queen nods her head while her Physician and Head of Knights gathered everything for the ride.

Like planned, Wren would stay behind. He was only a merchant and wouldn't be joining the queen at the castle.

Wren waved bye to the queen. He would miss her in the home everyday. Seeing her smile and being around her presences.

Once everyone had left Wren had a mental breakdown. He hated being alone and now he would be alone for the foreseeable future. Though there was news in the kingdom that some people were moving to the kingdom because of its' lack environment. Maybe he would find himself a wife and start a family.. If he couldn't have the queen that would be the next best thing.

The ride was long.. They rode though most of day one and all of day two. On the third day they finally reached the castle. Queen Julie took a moment to survey the area. It was so beautiful here. Wren had done a fantastic job.

"Your Majesty, the castle is around the bend here." Julie looks over to her adviser. "Coming."

Julie could tell Kobe was glad to be at the new house. The ride had been horrid for him. He hated not being able to do what he wanted when he wanted. It caused many laughs for the queen but she was glad her cat was happy now.

Pudding also came along for the ride but being only a kitten she slept for 90% of the trip. The castle was so big however she feared losing her cats within the walls.

Queen Julie realized quickly that being a Royal was no easy matter. She had only just gotten settled and already had a line a mile long at her door. Many wanted to move here, start trade routes, partner with her kingdom..

"Queen, if we are ever to finish by night fall we must start seeing people now." Julie sighs, she just wanted to dance, horribly.

"I suppose you are right Sterling. Let us begin then."

Giggling at the queen Sterling made his way to the door to start the process.

The process was slow and painful. Most of the people that wanted to move here were peasants and though she wanted to welcome everyone she couldn't allow just anybody in. She had to turn down so many or put them on a wait list. That was heart breaking for her.

"I'm sorry Ms. Cornfield. We can put you on a wait list but we are tapped out.." With a sigh the peasant girl agreed to the wait list and went on her way.

Sterling loved the castle but having the kitchen by the dungeon was the dumbest idea he had ever heard of. "Why would Wren do this.. This leaves the queen very unprotected! I doubt we will be in this castle for long.." Wren grumbled to himself while he made dinner. A cook wasn't hired yet so it fell on him, he didn't mind though because he loved to cook.

Pudding grew up toward the end of summer. She was very beautiful with no markings from her mother which Queen Julie was okay with.

"Thank you, I look forward to our kingdoms becoming one." With a handshake the women seal the deal.

"As my token of gradatude for helping my kingdom, I wanted to offer you a gift." The woman moves aside to reveal a beautiful woman. Julie was stunned.

"My present is her?"

"Well I heard you was attracted to women.. I would gladly offer you a woman for my kingdom for your kind help."

Julie soon found out that the woman was a lively funny woman. Julie was instantly smitten with the woman. They talked long into the night and the queen asked to court her. The woman seemed honored and agreed. The summer was certainly an eventful one.

Ula'ree - Year 2 -Spring

Julies bath was cut short with a sharp knock on her door.

"Who the hell can that be? Especially at this time of night."

Julie gets out of her relaxing bath and dresses quickly.

"Robert? Is that really you?" Julie runs into Roberts outstretched arms.

"The rumors were true. You are alive!"

The pair chat well into the night about there kingdom being destroyed.

"When I got back I knew something was wrong. There was no one at the gate.. No one at any of the shops. It was so odd and when I got into my house I found my mother and father dead.. It was horrible." Robert pulls her into his arms...

"I assume my brother was dead as well." Julie nods. "Well, I see you are doing well here. Are you taking care of all of this by yourself?"

"God no. Some time ago I fished a boy out of the pond. He had fallen in got his foot caught under a rock. Then the season after that one another boy was attacked by wolves and I nursed him back to health. Ever since, those two have lived here and they help me around this place. Actually, funny thing, they want me to be their queen. We named this area Ula'ree and it's just us here. Every once in a while we gets travelers that pass by and that's good for trade but other wise it is just us."

"Well you've been busy I see."

"You wouldn't believe! Oh my and the boy that was attacked by wolves, Wren, he tried to court me." At that Robert laughs loudly. So loud she heard the boys stir.

"Does he know you are GAY?"

"No, he had no clue." That makes Robert laugh even more.

"Everyone knew you and my brother had a pact.You only were marrying him because you can't marry a woman but he could continue with his lover and you could continue with yours. It was the worst kept secret in Dranlya."

At the sound of the name both of their smiles dropped. It hurt to say it.. She missed home so much.

"Do you have another bed for me? I know this is last minute but I would like to stay as well Queen Julie."

"Of course I have bed for you Rob. Tomorrow morning we can talk about your place in this kingdom."

"Queen Julie!" Wren yells out after Julie as she makes her way to the corn fields.

"Wren.. How are you today?"

"I'm well. Who is that man?"

With raised eyebrows Julie answers, "That is my dear friend Robert."

"I thought you said everyone in your kingdom died?"

"Robert had joined the service the spring prior to the slaughter Wren." Wren nods his head but deep down he was angry. Over breakfast he saw how they were and Wren didn't feel like someone gay acts like that with the opposite sex.

"I thought you said you were gay Julie."

"I am gay Wren. What is with all these questions and please address me as Queen Julie"

"I heard you and Robert's conversation this morning. You were talking about royal babies and a castle. Why him and not me QUEEN Julie?"

"Oh my.. This is why eavesdropping is never good. He was asking me as a Queen what I was going to do about the most important part of the job, having a royal heir.. I said I didn't know what I was going to do but the most logical thing would be to take a king and have him help me produce heirs.. Of course he would have to understand that it wouldn't be a real marriage, I would probably have a female lover and the only time we would be in our martial bed would be if we were making a child. I haven't decided anything though because I have many years to think about such a thing."

"Ah, I apologize then for being rude. I really care about you and I hope if you do decide to go logical you choice me."

Julie nods her head in understanding before turning on her heel towards the corn field.

From that conversation on Wren made everything a competition with Robert. What he didn't understand though was it was no match. Wren was still so young and immature and it showed more then ever.

"How long have you been in the military?"

"For 2 years now. I love it more then anything. I am excited to start up a military here in Ula'ree."

"Are you willing to lay your life down for the Queen?"

"I was willing to put my life down for the queen before she was a queen." Robert looks at Julie and makes a silly face mocking Wren, causing Julie to laugh loudly.

This angered Wren more then anything but it only made Julie and Robert laugh more.

It wasn't all tension in the Ula'ree kingdom.. Mow and Kobe had a kitten, Julie named her Pudding.

Julie had been so busy this spring she hardly had time to talk to Sterling. So when they sat down for some dinner they had quite a bit to talk about.

Sterling, though only 16 at this point was wise beyond his years and gave her great insight about what to do about her heir problem.

"You don't have to marry in order to have a child Queen. After all you are the queen and it doesn't have to be like other kingdoms. If you do decide to marry you can marry a woman. Make being gay legal here in Ula'ree."

"I suppose you are right Sterling.. Speaking of you being right, In the coming year I will be moving into my castle and wanted to know if you would be my adviser?"

This shocked Sterling. He was so young and nothing more then a painter by trade but if it made the Queen happy he was willing to do it. " I would be honored Queen Julie!"

"Then it is settled! You will be moving with me to the royal castle!" They share a smile while finishing there dinner.

Wren over hears the conversation and becomes even more enraged. It seemed only he would be not going to the royal castle!

Ula'ree - Year 2 -Winter

I cant believe I am already on year 2 winter..!

Besides sewing Julie also wood worked. She was really good at it now and made a lot of what was in the house.

The boys still often fought one another. Sterling was going through a growth spurt and was now taller than Wren.

After many discussions the group decided Julie Gang would be the queen of Ula'ree. The boys could agree they wouldn't have made it this far without her.

"You thought you could best me punk!"

Towards the end of winter Julie had finally learned how to make a toilet and tub. Sterling and Wren helped her figure out indoor plumbing. It was still a iffy process so they mostly relied on the outhouse like before.

But Julie had to admit that this was a nice addition to her house. A tub fit for a queen.

Ula'ree - Year 2 - Fall

"So Ms. Gang and I are going to the pond for some fishing. She is craving that fish soup again and who am I to say no."

"Yeah, of course. I'll be here, probably making Kobe a bed and getting that privacy screen up for Julie."

"Why do you insist on calling her by her first name. We are not equal to her!"

"Julie and I are only a year apart Sterling. We are equal. Hell, I'm thinking of courting her next year."

That bit of information took Sterling by surprise. He realized just how young he was because he didn't see a young Ms. Gang in that way at all. In his mind he knew she was only 19 but for some reason she seemed so much older then that.

Off to the pond that went. Sterling still wasn't very good at fishing, he would often fall down or slip on the slopes. He hated the feel of the fish and mostly he was scared of falling back in the water and getting his foot stuck under another rock.

When Sterling finally did catch a fish he was so excited!

"Ms. Gang! I did it."

"Good job Sterling! I told you you would be a natural."

Wren spent his time doing what he said. He put up the privacy screen, built Kobe a dog bed, and did the other mundane chores around the house.

"I'm very proud of you Sterling. You caught a big fish and we should have enough for many batches of fish soup!"

"Thank you Ms. Gang. That was a lot more fun then I thought it would be."

Though most of the chores were done around the house the onions still needed to be picked. Julie used onions in everything and thought about starting a second plant. Julie couldn't believe that winter was again almost here. She had a lot more food this time around and help but it still shocked her. Had she really been living this way, on her own without her kingdom, for 2 years now?

"MAX! There you are! I thought you were gone for good. Where have you been?" Sterling hugged and pet the dog for a good hour. Feeding him the left over bones from the fish as a treat. Max was a good dog that Sterling hoped would stick around but he only came ever so often.

That night at dinner Wren made his intentions known.

"Julie, I want to thank you again for saving me almost a year ago. You truly are a godsend."

"Oh, well thank you Wren. That's sweet."

"I.. I also wanted to know if you would maybe accompany me to the forest for a stroll. I know it isn't the best date but it's all we have here in Ula'ree."

Julie was taken back. He obviously didn't know, because she had never told him..

"Wren, you are sweet as pie but I was suppose to marry the shop keepers son and I knew him my whole life and didn't want to marry him. I actually can't see myself with any man honestly. I- I think I'm gay."

Wren's eyes went big. He didn't see that coming.

The conversation was cut short when Sterling headed over to the table. Wren didn't say much of anything throughout dinner but the silence wasn't uncomfortable.

Like many of the strays that hung around the lot, Mow decided to stick around. He wasn't anything like Kobe. She didn't eat the birds or squirrels. She only ate corn. She also stayed in the house more often then not.

After a year of practice I could finally make myself clothes. I was excited and made myself something. Only having 2 outfits wasn't always nice, especially with two men now sharing a home with me.

The last night of fall was a disaster. Sterling and Wren got into a fight. Wren was upset about being turned down and needed to take it out on somebody.

"Why didn't you tell me she was gay."

"Who is gay?"

"Don't play dumb with me! You've known her longer. I know you knew and you let me make a fool of myself!"

Thankfully the fight didn't result in any bad markings.

Ula'ree - Year 1 - Summer

Summer 1

Sterling was great! His family use to be beekeepers. I always had bees on the lot but I never went near them but with his help we now had honey. It was soo good.

My peppercorn was now fully mature. My food had flavor again.!

"Good boy!" Kobe was still an amazing hunter and I hardly ever had to feed him. Our relationship was such a win win.

On an early summer morning while Sterling and I were goofing around after our chores and young man ran up to us bruised and beat up.

"Please! Help me." Scared Sterling turned around defensively.

"Stand back Ms. Gang, we don't know who this guy is." I gently push past him,

"I didn't know you and I helped you. We are kind and gentle people here Sterling. We don't turn down people who need us." Sterling nods his head slowly but keeps a watchful eye.

After getting closer to him I better look over him.

"Oh you poor thing. Come in the house and get cleaned up" I grab his arm to usher him in the house with haste. If I didn't tend these wounds now he would surely die from disease.

While I cleaned this boy up Sterling feed some of the neighborhood dogs. He was such an animal lover and couldn't turn down helping them as much as possible.

After that, our summer was very calm. The young man made the choice to stay, much like Sterling did all those months ago. I found out his name was Wren and he was 17 years old. He was a sweet kid that had been attacked by wolves on a hunting party and had nearly escaped with his life. His father and older brothers had not been so lucky.

Another orphan, it broke my heart to know that so many died and so many children were left to fend for themselves. I wondered how many of them didn't make it because a parent was killed.

Ula'ree - Year 1 - Spring

Spring 1

Spring was finally here. The deer were all over my lot so I set out some traps for them. I was happy to say I finally caught on after some trail and error. After months of not eating well I would finally be eating something fat and good.

With spring also came unfrozen pond water. I made a mean fish soup and had a taste for it but my plans were kaput when instead of a fish I caught a man. He had fallen in the pond early this morning and had been unable to get out.

I brought him back to my cabin to nurse his foot.

I found out he was only 15 years old and much like my story his family had been slaughtered as well.

"I'm sorry that happen to you Sterling. You are welcome here for as long as you like, I could use the help and company."
"Thank you Ms. Gang. I won't be a burden on you I promise."

This was the start of my settlement of sorts. Sure it was just me and Sterling but I hoped one day we could have a bustling town. Much like the kingdom I grew up in.
